Let's Beat This

BENEFITING: PROJECT PURPLE
ORGANIZER: PROJECT PURPLE
EVENT DATE: Nov 06, 2016
Hello to our family, friends & colleagues!
Thank you for visiting our page. Myself and my supportive boyfriend, Ari Seelinger, are thrilled to be a part of the Project Purple team, and we are looking forward to playing a role in the fight against pancreatic cancer, and get a little exercise in doing so!
We are running in memory of my uncle, Tom Liebermann, who passed away from Pancreatic cancer just over two years ago. He was a fighter until his last breath, and he always pushed me to attain the unattainable, so we have decided to join the race against pancreatic cancer by partaking in a race of our own: the New York City Marathon.
Tragically, like thousands of others, my uncle was unable to overcome this deadly disease; however, Ari and myself want to prove that we can climb some seemingly impossible mountains. On November 6th, 2016 we will be lacing up our shoes to run the NYC Marathon – the largest marathon in the world. We will be running 26.2 miles across the 5 boroughs of New York, pushing ourselves to the limits both physically and mentally. This is a significant challenge, yet a small feat in comparison to those who are battling for their lives.
The power we have together far outweighs what we can do alone. That being said, by supporting us, you will help fuel Project Purple’s mission of raising awareness and funds towards a cure for pancreatic cancer. Please join the fight against this disease by donating to our cause – it would mean the world to us.
I can speak for my entire family when I say thank you for listening to our story and contributing to this effort.
We miss you so much, Uncle Tom!
