I lost my dad to pancreatic cancer six and a half years ago and not a day goes by where I don't miss him. He was the most amazing dad to me and my sisters and an incredible human being to anyone who knew him. I would give anything for one more day with him. I can't bring him back, but I can help try to prevent others from suffering from this terrible disease or having their loved ones go through the same heartache I have.
In memory of my Dad, I am running the NYC Marathon for Project Purple to help raise money to find a cure for pancreatic cancer and to improve the lives of patients through support, hope and compassion. Please help support me in this cause.
"Those we love and lose are always connected by heartstrings into infinity." Dad - your legacy lives on in so many who love you. I am running for you and for all my friends and family who have lost someone to pancreatic cancer. I will continue to wage hope that we will find a cure for this terrible disease that took you away from us.
