THE STORY:

Hey everyone!
As some of you may or may not know, my mom, Erin, was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in May 2016. She is one of the strongest people I know and has always encouraged me to follow my dreams & achieve my goals. I will be running the TCS New York City Marathon in November 2017 for Project Purple, a not for profit organization whose mission is to raise awareness and funds towards a cure for pancreatic cancer. Sadly, the statistics are staggering. Pancreatic cancer is the 4th largest killer of all cancer killers AND the least funded of the top 10 cancers. It is the only cancer on the top 10 list with a single digit survival rate after 5 years. This is why I am running the marathon and calling on my friends and family to learn more, donate & spread awareness for this cause. My mom has shown great strength throughout this process and is staying extremely positive. I hope you can all help me raise money for project purple so we can help my mom and others who are battling this cancer. Thank you for all of your support! We appreciate it more than you know!
