We provide seeds, growing space, and know-how for households to cultivate their own nutritious foods in Community Gardens, with the option to sell excess food for cash. Our program gives special preference in serving pregnant women, nursing mothers, and households with children in their first 1000 days of life. A child's nutrition during this window is critical for brain development, healthy physical growth and a strong immune system.
We are currently working in the Philippines with Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University (DMMMSU), our partner, to develop these gardens. Community Gardens are a safe place where people learn and practice organic farming. This approach empower families to provide for their own financial and food security. Please join us in transforming lives today.
