PROTECTING WATER IS NOT A CRIME: Standing Rock Legal Fees
Organized by: Alfredo Gama
Police in Wyoming and South Dakota are targeting water protectors and people of color while on our way to protect water. On our way to Standing Rock police in both states pulled a group of five people including two indigenous peoples in disguise of "speeding", but wanted to interview passengers independently about "travel plans". This is a tactic used to intimidate water protectors and disuade them from traveling to North Dakota. As indigenous people with limited access and resources, we do not have funds to cover legal fees. Please donate to pay off speeding tickets and ongoing legal battles with Wyoming and South Dakota Police. Please SHARE.
