Provide gloves and hospital books to hospitals in Cameroon
Organized by: Aloysius Achumuma
Recently while visiting Cameroon, I sat infront of a bakery and was having a drink when a cab driver hit a motorcycle rider and ran away. The rider layed by tge road side and seemed dead. Being trained and certified in American First Aid and CPR, I immediately ran to the rider to check for signs of life which I noticed were present. I immediately got a taxi and rushed the motorcycle rider who at this time was communicating and in serious pains to the closest government hospital called Bonasama hospital. I was so shocked and terrified when we got to the hospital that the nurses will not even touch the injured motorcycle rider until he paid for a few pair of hand gloves and an exercise book which both cost less than $5. My mission here is to stock most of these hospitals with gloves and exercise books to prevent so many victims being abandoned in hospitals and their situations getting worse. You can donate money, gloves or exercise books. Thanks.
