ProVision Barber Academy was started as a conduit to help reinstate men and women who are a convicted felon into society through barbering. Initially we formed a partnership with our county's vocational rehabilitation department, however due to State budget cuts, we were unable to move forward. Unfortunately this prohibited quite a few candidates from attending barber school. Barbering is one of the very few industries where and individual with a 'checkered past' can come into without discrimination, rejection, and the subjection of a system that wasn't designed to work for them in the first place. Everyone deserves a second chance, some of us just didn't get caught! Our program at ProVision focuses on personal development, community enrichment, and financial empowerment, not just cutting hair. We offer our students a fresh start, and share with them the proper knowledge and mechanics in order to thrive at their best level! ProVision Barber Academy has the lowest tuition in the nation, almost half the average cost of training. Our goalis to raise at least $4,000.00. With your help four prospective students will be able to begin training having their deposit and first 3 months covered. Or one prospect will be able to complete the program at no cost to them. Join us in this ProActive initiative! Thank you so very much in advance!
