26 miles is a long way to run, which is why there are now half marathons. But 13 miles is still borderline crazy. Even 6.5 miles, or 3, or 1.5 is asking a lot...thankfully we've made some adjustments for our writers.
The Half Half Half Half Half Marathon is reasonable, roughly .826 miles. A nice distance to run or walk or amble while supporting underserved youth through 826 Boston. I am proud to support 826 Boston and their goals as a former volunteer of 826 Boston and current intern within their Development Team. I am proud to stay that I've gathered the like-minded brains and muscles of my writing group and writing community from Emerson College in helping to support 826 Boston so that their youth can have a team that is as supported and inspired to aid them in ways that only they can inspire us to be! Let's hope that we are as creative and cool as they are...even if we're not, we'll run our hearts out and support our youth and their writing meanwhile!
All proceeds go to 826 Boston's free writing programs. When you register for the run and give $25 or more, you receive a ticket and one free drink!
April 13, 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM
826 Boston is a nonprofit youth writing and publishing organization that empowers traditionally underserved students ages 6-18 to find their voices, tell their stories, and gain communication skills to succeed in school and in life.
We are thankful to Berman Creative for coproducing this event.
