Yet, financial abuse happens in 98% of all cases of domestic violence and is one of the most powerful ways to control a victim.
MCCA's Countering Domestic Violence & Neville House Shelter
Neville House is a safe haven for adults and children fleeing from domestic violence. The Neville House is the only emergency domestic violence shelter in the area and is designed to create a safe and nurturing place for families that is free of violence. Other services provided by our Countering Domestic Violence program include: 24-hour hotline, criminal justice and legal advocacy; education and support groups for adults and youth; adult counseling sessions; approved site for 40-hour training; approved site for 150-hour supervision; approved site for continuing education credits. All of our services to domestic violence crime victims are free and confidential.
