BENEFITING: Purr Project Inc
The Purr Project, Inc. is a 501(c)3 organization whose primary duty is to rehabilitate and give a second chance to good felines that would otherwise be euthanized because of trauma resulting from an accident, abuse, or abandonment.
We are embarking on our most ambitious endeavor ever! We need to raise $50,000 to cover the rising costs of animal medical care. Rehabilitation means surgeries, specialists, and in many cases, intensive socialization. Our medical providers work with us medically and financially so that we can help as many of our “cubs” as possible but as you can imagine, we incur large medical bills.
The last 3 years have been difficult for the Purr Project as they have been for many in this age of austerity and shrinking budgets. We have fallen behind. In order to catch up and continue doing our life’s work, we have to raise $50,000. Our future is bright but not assured. The wonderful animals in our care depend on us daily to provide for them and we always will – but we need your help.
The funds raised will allow The Purr Project to rehab 100 additional "cubs", and the supplies to serve them: food, litter, and other equipment like towels.
