EVENT DATE: Aug 26, 2017

THE STORY:

Drowning is the second leading cause of accidental death among children and the leading cause of death for minority children and toddlers.  In August, I will be participating in the Swim24Challenge along with a team of my fellow Qualcomm employees to help prevent such tragedies.

The Swim24Challenge raises money to provide swim lessons to children whose families cannot otherwise afford them. It takes roughly $100 to teach a child to swim and the Drowning Prevention Foundation of San Diego is a 501 (3) c, so all donations are tax deductible.

This year's goal is to raise $200,000 for the foundation, so let's do what we can to help reach it!
