Friends and Family,
In May of this year, I posted a link to this site as an easy way for you to offer support to my uncle, Jeff Cordar, and his family as they faced the hardship of mounting expenses due to his cancer treatments. Many of you graciously donated and I cannot thank you enough!
It is with a heavy heart that I inform you that my uncle has fought his battle with cancer, and yesterday evening, November 5th, he took his last breath and was released of all his pain and suffering. He is now with the Lord in Heaven among all His angels watching over us.
Jeff was a kind, loving and patient husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He loved football and children, hunting, and cars. He had a way of making you laugh in any situation and if something needed repair – he was the man to call. Most of all, my uncle Jeff was a good person with a genuine heart. I will cherish the memories I have with him forever.
Thank you to all of you who have prayed over my family and who have offered so much support and kindness over the past few years. It will always mean a great deal to me to know that we have been surrounded with so much love.
If you wish to provide support during this time of mourning, service details are as follows:
A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 8th at the Stephens Funeral Home in DeKalb, Mississippi from 5:00 – 8:00 PM.
