Flushing Meadows Park with Spring in full bloom with Queens Distance! A portion of your registration will help raise funds for Queens Centers for Progress, a local organization that provides programs and services for people with developmental disabilities.
For 65 years, Queens Centers for Progress has been committed to providing person-centered services and supports to children and adults in Queens County who have developmental disabilities. The goal of these services and supports is to promote independence, community involvement, and quality of life. Everybody deserves to be treated equally, everyone is entitled to enjoy independence and feel like part of the community. Help Create Happiness! This 10K course provides rich views of Queens’ finest park. You’ll begin just north of the Unisphere and head down over the bridge to Meadow Lake and begin the first of two clockwise loops of the Lake before you go over the bridge down the home stretch. You’ll run up to the Unisphere and head back to the finish line to complete your spring forward 10K!
There will also be a 1 Mile Kids Run at 8:30 am.
