The Cause

Yes We Can!

Just as Barack Obama became the first African-American President of the United States, we too, can achieve great things right here in the Inland Empire.

Now we can permanently inscribe Barack Obama’s legacy into our local community by supporting the acquisition of a magnificent Presidential Bronze bust of our 44th President.

Join the Riverside African-American Historical Society in raising $15,000 for this extraordinary Presidential Bronze, which will be prominently displayed at the
(soon to be built) Civil Rights Institute located at Mission Heritage Plaza in Riverside, California.

20% of the Presidential Bronze acquisition fee is donated to the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History in
Detroit, Michigan.

Barack Obama Presidential Bronze Bust

The Barack Obama Presidential Bronze powerfully displays his iconic stature and legacy, and will inspire hope for generations to come for the entire Inland Empire community. The Presidential Bronze is a life-sized masterpiece and is the same authentic model that was used by
44 contemporary African-American artists in the highly-acclaimed Visions of Our 44th President exhibition. Superbly reproduced by one of the nation’s leading foundries, Artworks Foundry of Berkeley, CA, the Barack Obama Presidential Bronze has the provenance, authenticity and gravitas expected of a work depicting such a transformative leader.
