BENEFITING: TUESDAYS CHILDREN
EVENT DATE: Oct 12, 2016
On September 11, 2001 Alexander Gardner was just two years old when his father was killed at the World Trade Center. Over the past 15 years Tuesdays Children has been there for him and his family. Formed in the aftermath of Tuesday, September 11, 2001, Tuesday’s Children is a response and recovery organization that supports youth, families, and communities impacted by terrorism and traumatic loss.
Alex is now 17 years old and a senior at The Stanwich School in Greenwich, CT. He has created this annual event because of his concern over the increasing number of terrorist attacks around the world and his wish to raise funds to support this incredible organization. Please help Alex reach his goal of $5,000 as he sets sail across the sound on October 12, 2016.
100% of the proceeds will go directly to Tuesday's Children. Tuesday's Children is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. To learn more visit www.tuesdayschildren.org.
