Oh hey! Thanks for joining me in supporting BridgerCare, Bozeman's reproductive healthcare clinic. I believe that access to reproductive healthcare is essential for everyone, and especially for women and minorities. When young women and at risk populations have access to safe and affordable care, they are more likely to keep going to school, chase their dreams, and live healthier, more productive lives. So, I've decided to combine my new love for trail running (with my dog Tala May!) and my passion for the mission of BridgerCare. I've been on the board of directors for BridgerCare for several years, and know how effective and important this organization is in our community.
I've decided to run two races - Don't Fence Me In on May 13th and The Jim Bridger Run right here in Bozeman on June 24! That's a combined 17.5 miles and 3,400+ vertical rise of wonderful, sweaty Montana trail running.
AND, I want to raise $2,500 to support BridgerCare's brand new clinic, which is expected to be completed this fall. Every donation made will be matched by an anonymous donor, doubling our impact!! While we have raised almost enough money to pay for the shiny new clinic (debt free!), we still have a little ways to go - that's where you come in!
Thank you for supporting my fundraiser, because the more dollars I raise the happier I will be on the trails this summer. But most importantly, thank you for helping to build a new clinic so that BridgerCare can help more patients. Thank you for helping single moms get cancer screenings, and for educating teens throughout the region. Thank you for making it possible for 75% of BridgerCare's patients to pay on a sliding fee scale, because they can’t afford basic care.
However much you can give, thank you for your kindness and support! It makes a huge difference.
