BENEFITING: Nevada Donor Network Inc
My friend Matthew Hunt was killed while doing what he loved, riding his bike. For those of us that knew Matthew, we knew how sweet, caring and giving he was off the bike. On the bike was a different story. He was a tough son of a gun who would never quit. He would be foaming at the mouth on the verge of passing out, but slow down? Never. When Matthew passed away he carried on his generous ways by donating his organs through the Nevada Donor Network. In a way maybe this was his greatest victory, as if to say "you can kill me, but I'll keep living on and doing good in this world" This August I will be racing a 3 day mountain bike stage race known as the Breck Epic. It takes place in Breckenridge Colorado and is slated to be the hardest race I've ever done. I will be racing in Matthew's honor and hope to bring some of his stubborn competitiveness with me. Please help cheer me on by making a donation in his honor. All money raised will go to the Nevada Donor Network in honor of our dear friend Matthew. I also challenge you to double up your donation. I will be giving this race everything I have in me and if I finish in top 5 somehow I challenge you all to double your donation. Thank you so very much, your donations will change lives and help our dear friend's legacy live on.
