Race for Recovery
Organized by: Liam Robinson
Come join us for our annual Market Street Mission 5K Race for Recovery on Monday, July 4th, 2016. This event is a 5K run/walk located at Central Park of Morris County in support of those who struggle with addiction and recovery issues. A USATF sanctioned event, we are running for a reason! We're running to show support for those who are actively working a recovery program and staying clean and sober. We're running to remember a loved one who lost their battle with addiction. We're running to educate our youth that life can be lived without the use of drugs and alcohol. Lastly, we're running to support the Market Street Mission so that they can minister to all those who come to them looking for recovery. T-shirts guaranteed for all registrants who sign up by June 17th, 2016. For children ages 3 -9, we have a free Kid's Fun Run with "Capture the Flag!" Out of town on July 4th? Register to support our cause by participating in our "Freedom Run." Put on your "Race for Recovery" tee shirt and run wherever you are on July 4th. Take a picture of yourself in your race shirt and send it to us and you may win a spot in our newsletter or website! This is a great family fun event designed to start your Fourth of July off right. Bring a friend to cheer you on, or go ahead and create a team to fundraise for the event. Proceeds from the 5K benefit Market Street Mission's Life Change Recovery Program.
