About Race the River:
Epilepsy Association’s Race the River 10K, 5K and 1 Mile, formerly called ‘eRACE’, has undergone some exciting changes this year! Our sixth annual race now consists of a 10K, which will allow new distance runners to join and encourage old participants to increase their distance. Also new this year is chip timing! With the updated course, participants will race along the Cuyahoga River and through the towpath, allowing for fantastic scenery. All proceeds from the race will go directly to our agency’s local programs and services which assist those affected by epilepsy in Northeast Ohio.
Interested in fundraising?
Make your miles count for even more by joining as a fundraiser. As a fundraiser, you help raise awareness and funds leading up to the race by setting a fundraising goal and asking friends, family, and others to donate to your efforts. All fundraisers who reach their goal of $200+ will be given special recognition at the race in addition to receiving an official race soft blend baseball tee, in addition to all the benefits a race participant receives. With your help, we will be able to raise funds for our programs and services and raise awareness for epilepsy throughout our community.
