BENEFITING: Imerman Angels
In June of 2009 my Mom was diagnosed with a Grade 4 Glioblastoma Multiforme Brain Tumor. It was a difficult diagnosis and ultimatley took her life in October of 2014, just weeks after her 67th birthday. The five years she survived with her Cancer weren't particularly easy, but my Mom had an incredible ability to see the positive side of a bad situation. She lived each of her days as if it were her last, enjoying life and making memories.
One of her greatest acheivements during her time with a Tumor was her dedication to Imerman Angels. She took great pride in being a Mentor Angel and I'll never forget the amount of joy her mentoring brought her.
Imerman Angels is a very necessary organization and I am happy to be able to give back. My mom would be proud to know that I am training for the Chicago Marathon with Team Imerman Angels.
Why Imerman Angels?

Participating in the Chicago Marathon with Team Imerman Angels is an opportunity to be the difference for anyone seeking cancer support.
