BENEFITING: Brigham and Women's Hospital
EVENT: B.A.A. 10K 2017
EVENT DATE: Jun 25, 2017
On Sunday, June 25, hundreds of teammates will join together to run the 2017 Boston Athletic Association (B.A.A.) 10K road race to support Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH).
BWH cares for patients from New England, throughout the United States, and from 120 countries around the world. Every day, BWH clinicians, researchers, and caregivers work to find new ways to predict, prevent, and treat the most challenging diseases of our time while delivering world-class care with a profoundly human touch. Our team is proud to run in support of this world-class hospital that is fueling quality patient care, innovative training, and life-changing discoveries that will benefit patients here in Boston and around the world.
This year, the cardiovascular medicine fellows, and our friends and family, have come together to form Racing Hearts 35500 to help raise funds for BWH and the Cardiovascular Medicine Education and Training Fund. This fund supports journal clubs, guest lecturers, and other training events that contribute to our rich educational experience throughout fellowship. We are a group of people who have devoted our lives to the advancement of cardiovascular care and research. We are honored to run in support of our training program, but more importantly, we are honored to run for our patients. Each clinic visit we have prepared for, each patient we have cared for, and each family we have connected with, has taught us something and left its mark upon our hearts. This is our opportunity to run for them. We keep racing so that their hearts keep racing, and we are honored to have your continued support.
