From June 24 to June 30, 2017, I will race the bike race Haute Route Rockies. Over 7 straight days, I will race 505 miles and nearly 55,000 ft of climbing -- while dealing with the effects of racing at elevation. Comparatively, the pro's USA Pro Challenge race was round 500 miles and 30,000 feet of climbing in a similar 7 day span. I'm racing for, and inspired by, dZi Foundation and the work they do to bring real change to remote communities in Nepal. My suffering and climbing pales in comparison to what the remote Nepalese communities experience to just reach basic supplies for their village. The funds I raise will go directly to dZi’s general operating fund to support their programs, which include building schools, toilets, bridges, water systems and agriculture initiatives in Nepal. Please join me in helping to support the great work that dZi is doing.
