BENEFITING: MYTEAM TRIUMPH
ORGANIZER: MYTEAM TRIUMPH
I am not a runner by nature - to be truthful - I have never thought of running as something I love...but over the years, I have developed a love/hate relationship with running and have realized the ups and downs being able to hit the road has provided me, and the amazing people I have met along the way.
A wonderful supporter of Ainsley's Angels happens to be one of those amazing people I met along my running path (or at least on a neighboring treadmill) while deployed last year, and when I learned of the virtual runs he did to hep raise awareness and fundraise for this organization, I gained even more respect for him.
When I returned, I fell into a rut, not really wanting to run, especially after having done so much of it while I was away from family...then, the opportunity came and Justin asked me if I would be interested in joining this team and support this cause, and once again, the road started calling to me, and the opportunity to be able to provide someone not able to "hit the road" on their own became a new challenge for me to undertake.
So, if not out of the desire to just support an amazing cause - donate here and support me in my efforts to hopefully be able to give someone the chance to feel the joy of the open road with the help of an angel....
Thank you for reading, and to all of my fellow AFG runners...ROCK ON!!!!
