BENEFITING: RAIN COMMUNITIES INC
Running a marathon is very hard, especially when you've never done it before. I have never run more than 4 miles, but am going to train for it one day at a time until November when I put my training to action. While my efforts are miniscule compared to homelessness, training at this level reminds me of families who find themselves in an uphill battle from living on the streets to getting back on their feet. They need help, support and coaching. My charity is called RAIN, which is a compassionate group of people in Camarillo, CA who have 28 rooms for small families that are coming off of the street. They need a helping hand from the community to aid in bringing the families back into society with jobs, meals, transportation, and counseling. I will make it 26 miles. Will you help me, help them? Small donations add up to big changes. Thank you for your compassion and support.
