This week’s featured speaker for Rainbow House is a survivor of the October 21, 2012 domestic violence mass shooting that occurred at the Azana Spa in Brookfield, a suburb of Milwaukee. Four people, including the shooter, died in the incident; four others were injured. The shooter was the estranged husband of a spa worker killed in the shooting. One of the survivors speaks about her experience and her work with the Rainbow House Domestic Violence Homicide Response Team. Sarah was seven months pregnant when she was shot three times.
