Help! I need a new roof!
I was built c. 1710 in the heart of Shrewsbury at the historic four corners. At the time of the revolution, I was owned by Josiah Halstead and I was the Blue Ball Tavern. People traveling from miles around stopped for food and drink. I served as the court, town hall, post office, dance hall and gathering place.
Now, I welcome visitors during the summer months and also let school children see what 18th century life was like.
I need a new roof right away. Please donate.
