BENEFITING: BUTTERFLY HAVEN INC
What started out as a family ministry dedicated to helping children in foster care and families in crisis situations quickly grew to a community effort. In 2015 Butterfly Haven, Inc. became an official 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.
Butterfly Haven, Inc. fills an important need in the community, by equipping foster families for their responsibility of providing a safe environment with adequate provisions for the children in their care. Butterfly Haven, Inc. strives to positively impact fostering by providing networking, resources, support and the sense of purpose to the children and families we serve.
Butterfly Haven, Inc. is staffed by volunteers, many of whom are also foster parents. Butterfly Haven, Inc. is funded solely by monetary donations from the community around us. Butterfly Haven, Inc. is made possible by the donations of new and used clothing, books, toys, furniture, luggage, and more.
Butterfly Haven, Inc. partners with Sweet Celebrations to provide birthday parties for each foster child and Feed My Peeps to provide fresh food to our families. Butterfly Haven, Inc. has been abundantly blessed by the in kind donations we have received.
To date Butterfly Haven, Inc. has not utilized an actual building due to the expense it entails. We feel our money is better utilized directly into necessary resources for our children and families.
While Butterfly Haven, Inc. does have a storage unit, that unit is no longer large enough to accommodate the donations coming in. The time has come that in order to better sort and distribute our resources, we are in need of a building.
Butterfly Haven, Inc. currently serves over 165 families with networking, support & resources. Our prayer is that in 2016 we reach even more & continue #makingmomentsmatter for children in foster care & crisis situations. Can you help us make this happen?
Your donation and support of Butterfly Haven, Inc. is tax deductible. Your financial gift of $5, $10, $20 or more will help us reach even more children in foster care and crisis situations and the families who care for them.
