THE STORY:

UPDATE: We have established a treatment plan that will take place here in our hometown of Sedona!  We'll be meeting with a Radiology Oncologist here in Sedona on the 19th and Bob will take his radiation treatments at the Northern Arizona Oncology Center which is partnered with the University of Arizona.  This is a huge relief and we both feel that staying at home will have a huge impact on Bob's recovery.  Thank you everyone for your prayers.

Husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend, Bob Moulinier was diagnosed with stage 4a Head and Neck Cancer on the 2nd of May 2014. Bob will need 7 weeks of radiation and chemotherapy, Monday through Friday,  Aside from the obvious hardships of side effects that come with chemo and radiation, Bob will be out of work for a minimum of 3 months as we fight this disease.  He has been the primary support for chronically ill wife Deirdre for 22 years and has been helping to support his younger daughter and 2 granddaughters for 4 years. Bob owns a remodeling business in Sedona, AZ with at least one employee. Most of all though Bob is a very hard worker with a great work ethic that one does not find in most people in this day and age.  Whether sick or not, taking time off of work does not come easily to Bob.

Bob just acquired health insurance but that comes with a hefty co-pay of $6,000.00 before the insurance picks up 100% of the costs. We have calculated what it will take to keep up with the bills for approximately 4 months.  Bob will work as long as he can but will most likely be unable to after the first month.  In other words, we have a plan but we need financial help to carry it out.  The most important thing for Bob right now is to concentrate on fighting his cancer, not on how the bills are going to get paid.

Bob is a native Arizonan whom many friends on the East Coast call "Arizona Bob". Wife Deirdre will be ordained in June (God Willing) as a Deacon serving at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Sedona where both Bob and she are active members.

We understand that not everyone has cash to spare but in any event we would feel so blessed if you took time out to pray for Bob's full recovery from cancer.

God Bless Bob. God Bless you!

Thank you. Bob and Deirdre Moulinier
