BENEFITING: SPONDYLITIS ASSOCIATION OF AMERICA
Raising money for the disease I have to help support research to make better the lives with those affected. I do these races to motivate and challenge me, while I can.
I hope somehow seeing me do these races motivates you to donate, to live a healthier life, to exercise and to show you that you need to stay moving. Exercise makes everyone feel better, especially those with Arthritis.
I did Minneman Olympic tri 2 weekends ago, finished in 49th place and 5th in my age group, it was a tough race with quite a few great athlete's out there! I know I didn't feel that great during the run, was just trying to survive
Buffalo Tri - The first olympic tri I did this year, it was very hard, very warm out. I went way way to hard on the bike and suffered through the run, a common theme so far this year with the triathlons I've done. I need to learn to pedal easy on the bike and not worry so much about what speed I'm doing
Liberty Tri - This was the best olympic distance tri I've done so far out of 4. I felt great on the bike and the run. I actually had a sprint finish with a guy I use to run with in a running group. Great race
I felt very good during the whole marathon! I was happy with my time 3:24. Chicago marathon has been the favorite out of the 8 marathons I have done. I will run Chicago again in a couple years.
