EVENT DATE: MAY 23, 2015 - MAY 24, 2015
AngelRide is one of New England’s premier charity bicycle rides; providing riders, volunteers, sponsors and donors with a two-day experience unlike any other. From the athletic challenge of the 135-mile ride, to the camaraderie of the riders and volunteers, to the direct impact on the lives of children with serious illnesses, it’s easy to see why AngelRide has become a Memorial Day weekend tradition for so many.
Rider and volunteer fundraising supports The Hole in the Wall Gang's Hospital Outreach Program: bringing the hopeful, playful spirit of The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp to children and families in the hospital setting.
This year, I have decided to embrace the challenge that AngelRide presents with my wonderful riding companion, Susan Cummins. We are going to do our very best to be in physical shape for the race, but we are asking our friends and family to help us out with the rest of the event. AngelRide is an incredible fundraising opportunity for the Hole in the Wall Gang Camp. I have done my research on this camp and, from what I can tell, it is absolutely phenomenal. The camp brings children with serious illnesses together, in a place where they can feel like kids and genuinely have fun.
Our team would appreciate any donations to help us reach our goal of $2,000. Thank you all very much!
If anyone would like to do some research of their own on the Hole in the Wall Gang Camp, there is a youtube channel that provides some of their campers' stories!
