BENEFITING: COLINS HOPE
Randeen Torvik Ragan
Dear Friends, I am swimming in the Cap2K next Sunday April 29. This fun fun FUN swim is the only "downhill swimming race in Texas" and Austin's signature open water swimming event. It is an open water 2000+ meter, straightaway course from Red Bud Isle to the Texas Rowing Center. This year I would like to use my effort to help raise funds for Colin's Hope, which is a beautiful organization formed to honor the drowning death of Colin Holst on September 2, 2003. From Colin's death was born an organization dedicated to prevent unintentional drowning, an all to often occurrence around the world. Read more at https://www.colinshope.org/. I give swimming lessons to a very small number of kids each summer but Colin's Hope reaches thousands! I also am certified as an Adult Learn to Swim instructor and hope to spread the word to ALL ages of non-swimmers that they can and need to know how to swim or at the very least save themselves. Please join me in this cause by donating whatever amount you canto Colin's Hope. And remember the rule of 10 -- if 10 of my friends donate just $10, that is $100 in no time!
