We Can Do This

At Random Acts, our mission is to conquer the world one random act of kindness at a time. Earlier this year, we were proud and excited to launch the Crisis Support Network, and, in partnership with IMAlive and To Write Love On Her Arms (TWLOHA), we’ve helped provide our supporters with a place to turn in times of crisis.
We realized, however, that there was a piece missing in our network. In the United States, 15% of high school students experience cyberbullying (StopBullying.Gov). We know this threat doesn't stop after adolescence either and often manifests in the form of online bullying — so Random Acts has decided to go one step further.
Random Acts is excited to announce that, in 2017, Pop Culture Hero Coalition (www.PopCultureHero.org) will join forces with us as a partner to help address cyberbullying for the Crisis Support Network. Pop Culture Hero Coalition is a United Nations Partnership-recognized organization that addresses bullying through the use of pop culture. With its team of psychological and psychiatric professionals, Pop Culture Hero Coalition, along with Random Acts, will develop an online training initiative to support those being affected by cyberbullying. Through the Crisis Support Network, users will now be provided with a third option that provides resources, online chat and text, and soon, an online training curriculum for those affected by cyberbullying.
