BENEFITING: RANDOM ACTS
THE STORY:
The holidays are just around the corner and at Random Acts we’re hoping you’ll help us celebrate the only way we know how -- by getting kind!
In the spirit of the season, we're embarking on an exciting crusade that all sock monkey hat-wearers, kindness-superheroes, and charitable ninjas can take part in alongside us. From November 25th through January 6th, 2015, we will be accepting donations of any amount on CrowdRise. For every donation made through December 2, 2015, a virtual brick will be laid on the CrowdRise Giving Tower; working together, each charity and its donors will be supporting one another’s efforts to help build the virtual tower as high as it will go -- to the tip-top of the Empire State Building, the clouds, the moon, and beyond (we’re hoping to make it at least to Saturn). CrowdRise will also be issuing weekly bonus challenges to allow charities and supporters the opportunity to gain some extra special prizes (including monetary prizes, donation matching, etc) as the weeks progress.
At the end of the challenge, the charity that has raised the most amount in generous donations will receive a $100,000 donation. So join the team and help us fundraise while enjoying some holiday revelry and a little old fashioned competition. Your donation can be large or small -- even $10 can go towards purchasing a new winter hat for a displaced community member or buying a few meals for a child who needs it. We hope you’ll take part in our efforts to change the world one random act of kindness at a time.
Let’s show them how it’s done!
