RAPTOR Inc. is dedicated to the preservation of birds of prey through rehabilitation, education, conservation and community service. RAPTOR Inc. is a 501(c)3 charitable organization with the proper state and federal permits and facilities required to rescue, transport, rehabilitate, house, and release raptors to the wild. The organization also cares for several permanent resident birds of prey that serve as educational ambassadors for their wild counterparts. There are over 20 different species of raptors indigenous to southern Ohio and northern Kentucky. Raptors include owls, hawks, falcons, eagles, osprey, harriers, and kites. We also care for vultures. Each year RAPTOR Inc. treats over 200 birds of prey at our Milford, Ohio facility and returns over 50% of them back to the wild. In addition, RAPTOR Inc. volunteers present over 250 educational programs at schools, libraries, scout meetings, parks and similar venues. Through these programs RAPTOR Inc. advocates for environmental stewardship and strives to form meaningful connections between the public and wildlife.
