Rasing-Hope in Guyana
Organized by: salina warner
Hello world!!! Welcome to Guyana a small country a the top of south america. This one of the poorest country in Latin america and the Caribbean, and suicide has more than half of the population. Most of those who commit suicide are the young women between the ages of 15 to 25. Because of poverty and a lack of resources these young girls feel worthless and hopeless thinking they don't a have future so they'd end it before it gets harder. And those who didn't take there lives become mothers at a very young age living as if they have no more purpose. Because of a lack of professional jobs these women work hard for low wages just to provide for they're families. They can't afford the luxury of anything unneeded, they have to always save for there is always a hard time. What we wish to do is to start a small be effective clothing factory in a small town in the countryside for the young women to be able to achieve something if they work hard for it. They will have the freedom to manage there own life and don't life like poverty has a definite clamp on they're lives. They don't have to be what they have been born into. These women can change the state of the country with the right empowering. We will use all the money we raise to buy equipment for the factory. Every little help appreciated because whats it like to have none... thank you!!!!! Together Lets fight poverty!!!
