Rauls American Dream Act
Organized by: Amanda Rivas
Hi everyone Im trying to help a friend who really needs it. This is his story. Hello my name is Raul Cruz, I have been here in Washington since 1998, My father brought my sister and I here to Washington to try and have a better future for ourselves. This has been my home for about 18 years now and is the only place I really know. About 2 years ago Cynthia Marino a good friend of mine's mother help me get the American Dream Act Visa. She helped me by paying for a lawyer and some other fees that had to get paid in ordered for me to get this chance. And we accomplished it together and have been extremely grateful to her for everything she did to help me archive this opportunity that not many are lucky to get. The visa only last so long and has to be renewed again or end up getting deported by June 2016. I'm trying to raise this money to help pay lawyers and fees that I need to be able to renew my visa before June 2016. It would mean so much to be able to be given the chance to continue too stay at the place I call home and continue to be with my sister, and help her with my autistic nephew who I love both very much because there the last of the family I have left. To have the chance to see the friends that I have made over the years. Also to be able to continue to have opportunity's as a American who can dream and achieve goals that the set there mind too. I would be extremely grateful for any help that I would receive to be able to have another chance to stay and continue to be able to have the opportunity as any legal person would get. I hope that I can still get the opportunity to contnue and call this place my home. Thank you very much for taking the time and the chance to read my story.
