Raymonds road to Recovery
Organized by: Adrienne Valenzuela
Raymond is 2 years old and has ESRD (End Stage Renal Disease) he is on dialysis and has been since before he was one month of age. He is on Peritoneal dialysis which is done every day. He goes to Dr appointments once a month sometimes twice. He goes to Phoenix Children's Hospital for care. We live in Tucson AZ. So about 100 miles+ travel . He is on the process of receiving a Kidney . He will make it to a donor list as soon as he meets all requirements. I know in my heart that he will get a chance on living a good life once he receives a donated kidney . Hospital stay and expenses at home are a challenge. Dad works and I stay at home and care for my babies. Raymond is on 7 different medications that need to be given throughout the day, he gets injections twice a week and he also gets tube feedings everyday and night. When we have to stay at the hospital for certain mishaps and dad needs to stay home from work and care for our other kids, missing work is sometimes needed. Bills pile up and times get hard. We are a family of seven. We have 5 kids Jazmine 13, Angelina 11, Edmundo 8, Raymond 2, Izrael 1 . Ray is getting ready for a somewhat better life then now and anything will help. Any donation received will be used towards bills and travel expenses.
