God has really blessed me with opportunities to serve at Mt. Bethel Baptist Church in Arkadelphia, Arkansas over the last two years. For the past two years I have served as senior pastor until most recently by stepping down and taking over as full time youth director. Two summers ago, I was able to serve in Belmopan, Belize alongside volunteers with International Sports Federation using sports as an icebreaker to share the gospel. All these opportunities came after a life changing conversation with the Father during which God called me to serve. This letter is in regards to another opportunity God has presented me with. God has presented me with the call to serve alongside missionaries in Belize long term while leading people to Christ. I have felt the call to meet up with missionaries in local villages around Belize and be an in home counselor and mentor to teenagers and young children. I am excited about this opportunity and know God will use this call as a missionary to help me grow in my walk. I am eager to see how God will use me full time in Belize. As I begin the process of leaving the states to serve internationally, I really need your prayers for my family and myself. We need to be prepared physically, mentally, and most importantly spiritually. I would love to have some prayer warriors who would be willing to pray for me on certain days of the week. To know that someone is praying for me each and every day would be a great comfort. In addition to much needed prayers, I also have a financial need. The estimated cost per year is $40,000. If you would be able to help in any way, I would greatly appreciate it. You may make your checks out to me and I will place it in the appropriate accounts to cover the costs of my mission. All of the money received will be used to cover the expense of living as a missionary. This cost includes airfare, food, travel, lodging, and all other expenses. I know that some of you will not be able to support me financially. Believe me, your prayers will be an even greater asset to me. Thank you in advance for your prayers and support. This mission would not be possible, if not your faithful prayer warriors and selfless givers. I am very excited and you can rest assured that I will have a full report for you when I return.
