All children deserve to start the school year ready to learn. This includes children who are experiencing homelessness. The fact is alarming: On any given night there are nearly 2,000 children who are homeless in King County and, on average, it costs nearly $100 for families to purchase the supplies required by public elementary schools. Your generosity can make a positive difference for kids who are homeless.
With your support, Wellspring will help send more than 400 students-in-need back to school this fall with supplies to help them succeed in the classroom.
You can help give children who are homeless an opportunity to succeed by:
• Making a financial gift
• Donating new school supplies (see our wish list)
