BENEFITING: HOLY TRINITY ANGLICAN CHURCH
We bought a church, which had been left empty and unmaintained for 10 years. We invested in it, and now we celebrate every week in our new place for worship. We welcome people from the neighborhood and nearby communities, for both the Eucharist and other programs. Our focus is now turned to the adjacent building, which was in a poor state. After many hours of both volunteer and professional work, the building is sound (new roof beams), and safe (fire alarm system, emergency lights). However, there is still work to do before we can open for new neighborhood programs, such as a soup kitchen, a food pantry, and the winter coat program. We call this building our Outreach Center, and it’s very close to ready for occupancy. Sadly, our funds are running low, our line of credit stretched thin, and we need your help. Any contribution, large or small is truly welcome and appreciated. We also ask for your prayers, as we step out in faith, serving the needy in the French Hill Neighborhood of Marlborough.
