BENEFITING: SUSAN G. KOMEN MASSACHUSETTS
EVENT DATE: Sep 27, 2015
After crossing the finish line for treatment in May with incredible style and grace, our amazing Lynne thought (among other things) "that felt good! Let's cross some more finish lines!"
On Sunday, September 27, we will be lacing up our sneakers for the 2nd year in a row, to run the Susan G. Komen Race for a Cure. We are so grateful to be on the other side of treatment this year and know that we could not have gotten here without the love, support, prayers, phone calls, cards, letters, emails, charms, CDs, and general good vibes from all of our family, friends, doctors, nurses, everyone on Yawkey 9 and at the Zakim Center, and everyone else who touched our path along the way!!!
We also know that we wouldn't be here without the incredible organization of Susan G. Komen. They are incredible organization and their invaluable research has contributed to the treatment and resources available today!
Please support us as we race again this year, to raise money for an incredible cause. The Komen Massachusetts Race for the Cure celebrates its 23rd anniversary in 2015! Through funds raised by our Race participants, Komen Massachusetts has contributed to funding more than $68 million in breast cancer research, local education, screening and treatment. Every dollar raised by Race for the Cure makes a lasting impact in the fight against breast cancer. Your fundraising efforts will help save the lives of Massachusetts women.
More treatment. More research. More survivors. A cure.
