Rebuild Stronger Nepal Fund
Organized by: Sujeeta Silwal
EVENT DATE Apr 27, 2015
It is always hard to lose someone and something so close to us. On April 25, 2015 we lost thousands of our brothers, sisters and loved ones due to Nepal's earthquake. We lost a huge part of our identity.
Sourcing clean water and maintaining sanitation is a big crisis for the average Nepali family right now. My town in Kathmandu, Nepal has no electricity and water. Both the water supply source and electricity poles have been damaged. My family and neighbors say that pretty soon they will run out of their water stock. The well is not advised to use for a while.
With this fundraiser, I want to contribute to the water supply system for my town.
We will never be able to get my homeland back the way it was but together we can rebuild a stronger Nepal. Let us cultivate a sense of compassion and do what we can to carry the burden of their sorrow together.
Thank you for helping me in my effort to rebuild the land of Buddha, brave Gurkhas and Mount Everest.
God bless the victims of Nepal’s earthquake!
