Bullet/Stab Protective Vest for K9 Officer Remy
Organized by: Brandie Hassing
K-9 Bullet/Stab Protective Vest is needed for K9 Remy of Redmond, Washington Police Department. Ten year old Jack Hassing has put together this Fundraiser for Vested Interest in K9's Inc.
In most cases law enforcement agencies do not have budgets to provide vests for their four-legged K-9 officers. They are often first on the scene in the most dangerous situations. The K-9 goes in first, they are the first responder, and they deserve to have the vest just like their human partner. These K-9s protect the community every day and time is of the essence.
Jack wants you to know more about K-9 Remy. He is a two year old German Shepherd assigned to Officer Daniel Smith. They are certified as a Patrol Generalist team and his primary job is locating fleeing suspects and evidence recovery. He is also part of the Redmond Police Department SWAT Team and assists in serving high risk warrants. When he's not working, Remy loves to play fetch and go for walks with his family. He dislikes the sound of vacuum cleaners.
Please help us protect K9 Remy if you can while he's out protecting us. Any amount helps in a huge way.
