Red's chiari rehab
Organized by: miranda bernarde
I was diagnosed with chiari malformation. It's a rare deformity of the skull. It causes the cerebellum to push into the brain stem and in my case cause a fluid sack of spinal fluid. Chiari can cause severe headaches, dizziness, loss of basic functions such as breathing and swallowing. Nerve control, motor skills, balance problems, . If not fixed it can disable a person. I have 2 sons who have watched their mom be in constant pain. I don't want to keep on living in pain. My insurance will not cover this surgery or rehab. I'm slated for surgery July 10th 2014. In which t g e back of my skull will be removed along with the first 2 vertebrae. I will be off work for 6 weeks with no income and no help. Any help is greatly appreciated.
