BENEFITING: CHEROKEE COUNTY ARTS COUNCIL OF NC
EVENT DATE: Jun 01, 2013
Have you ever wanted to throw an egg at me? Or if not me, just at someone? How about 120 eggs? Now is your chance!
I have committed to raise $1000 for the Cherokee County Arts Council. If I can raise $1000, I will allow folks to PELT ME WITH RAW EGGS (one dozen for every $100 raised... that is 120 eggs!) at the Art, River & Music Festival on Saturday, June 1st at the L & N Depot in Murphy, NC. If you make a donation you are more than welcome to throw the eggs; however, if you cannot make the event, I will have proxy throwers for your convenience (throwers include: Ben Kilmer, Jeremiah Smith, Eddie Sylvester, Jill Sonnenberg, etc.) and believe me they will not go easy on me. Also, I will post a video of the event for all donors. I would hate for you to miss the show. The festival is from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and the egg pelting will start just after the Crazy Float Race at 2:00.
CCAC's Mission: to promote and increase access to all forms of art in the county. This is an intentionally broad mission designed to include the wonderful array of art that already thrives in Cherokee County, and also allow for the opportunity to bring in different performing and visual artists from distinct backgrounds and cultures. You can check out thier website and upcoming projects at www.cherokeeartscouncil.org.
We are on our way... I have put in $100 for the first dozen. I hope you will join me and help out this deserving cause.
All monies raised will be donated to the Cherokee County Arts Council and used to help further their important mission!
