BENEFITING: BREAST CANCER COALITION OF ROCHESTER INC
EVENT DATE: May 11, 2014
In the last month, our family has been rocked by breast cancer. My second mom, my mother-in-law, was just diagnosed, and she and our family have a long road ahead of us. Even in the short amount of time that's passed, it's already clear just how impacting this disease is for the families and loved ones of those diagnosed. Those affected need help with decision-making. They need support. They need help locating the most contemporary research to educate themselves and others. For my mother-in-law's children, for her incredible grandchildren (two of whom are mine), for her nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends -- she is a tremendous force who is exceptionally loving and is exceptionally loved. All of us need to be equipped to support her throughout her fight.
This Mother's Day, Matt, Sophie, Evie, and I will be participating in the Pink Ribbon Run & Family Fitness Walk to benefit Rochester's Breast Cancer Coalition. Please consider supporting us and help us to help others have access to the wonderful array of resources provided by this organization -- ANY amount makes a tremendous difference! Donating is easy, quick, and safe. And you'll have my undying love and respect. :)
Thank you for your support!
