Domestic abuse and relationship violence is a global problem, one that affects millions of women, men and children throughout the world. Domestic violence does not only effect the victim(s) and abuser(s) it affects everyone eventually in very tangible ways. We, society as a whole deal with domestic violence in the long run on a social, financial and even emotional level. Despite having reached epidemic numbers shelters are closing the doors leaving victims without any viable resources. Even under the best economic condition shelters and outreach programs operate at a deficit and a vast majority of the target participants needs go unmet. The intent of this collaboration on the Project will examine how to better meet these underserved and unmet needs. We will continue to advocate for the victims and survivors as well educate, raise awareness and funds.
