BENEFITING: American Cancer Society Foundation
EVENT DATE: Jun 12, 2010
The American Cancer Society Relay For Life is more than just an event to me. It is my personal opportunity to help support the American Cancer Society in the hopes that one day this horrible disease will be a thing of the past. I am doing this walk as the founder of Broadland Cares, our small neighborhood community service group. I am doing it as a person that has lost family and friends to cancer. I am also doing it as someone who feels that we all as individuals should take every opportunity to help, be it through action or donations.
Too many of my loved ones have been victims to cancer, and by walking the relay I am remembering them. My uncles Richard and Jerry, my grandfather, many of my friends will always be in my memory.
The lives that will be saved may be my own, or my children's. Please support my efforts by making a donation or by joining my Relay For Life team. Increase your impact by making a monthly donation. Together, we have the power to help create a world where cancer can no longer claim another year of anyone’s life.
With love and hope,
