Reliable Transportation for Foster Family
Organized by: Elizabeth Skinner
This donation would be for a special family who are wonderful foster parents. They are in dire need of SUV or Van to transport the medically complex kids as wells as their 3.I have to start out by saying she would never ask for this from anyone but I feel led by God to do this for her so she said ok. This is not just for her it is for her family to be able to show more children love and care. This will allow them to take in one to two more children to help. It will give them reliable Transportation to transport the family together as a whole to places like therapy, Doctor appts, specialist appts and outings. This will also fit their own children who have selflessly welcomed in these children with open arms. They have given up their own rooms, toys, parents time and so much more but continue to want to give to more children. On September 28th 2015 The Wrights started an Amazing Journey to take in Special Needs children. During this journey they have experienced great joy, love and support but unfortunately they have experienced the headache and stress or their main car their van breaking down. They have also experienced the hardness of having to love and let go. They also like any family have their own needs also. I have watched as their kids are willing to ride in separate cars and be juggled around in order to fit extra children for more doctors appointments and activities and yet still adore their foster brothers and sisters just like they are part of their own family. They donated money will go for a 7 to 8 passenger vehicle that is reliable. The price range for a used let alone a new car can be high so I will set the goal high because I believe they deserve this. I believe they deserve a new one that is reliable that they don't have to worry about as well as tax title and tags to be paid for. Sadly she recently bought a used van only to have the headache of something going wrong with it and the money she had saved going to buy the van and it not running. I appreciate you taking the time not only look at this but pass it on most of all sending your thoughts and prayers not only to the Wright family but to all foster families because it can be so difficult at times but rewarding in the long run.
