My family in the Philippines is preparing for relief aid to be sent to Tacloban in the wake of typhoon Haiyan/Yolanda. They will be purchasing and packaging food and supplies tomorrow. Many parts of Tacloban are not able to receive aid due to road damage and distance from the city center. My family in Cebu has organized a private barge and land transportation to take relief aid to these harder to reach places. I know people are praying for the people there, but please also consider donating if you can. The US dollar is worth a lot relative to the Philippine peso, so even $10 can go a long way.
